CAPTURING KIDS’ HEARTS® COACHING GREATNESS™ TRAINING
Coaching Greatness helps sports organizations cultivate leadership potential to meet ambitious goals. Great coaches know how to create healthy relationships and productive cultures that lead to strong results.
Growing Capacity for Leading and Coaching with Excellence
Coaches Face a Formidable Challenge
Growing and maintaining a championship culture requires focus on the two areas with the highest payoff: talent and leadership development. Accelerating growth in athletes begins with coaches. No athletic organization can rise above the personal constraints of its coaching leaders. Recognizing and overcoming personal constraints is critical to maximizing coach potential.
Solving the Challenge
In Coaching Greatness, coaches learn how to intentionally and consistently define expected behaviors and create a culture that reflects the values of the athletic program while meeting ambitious goals.
Participant Outcomes
Participants will learn how to:
Align talent development strategies for players and coaches with the athletic department and team goals
Agree on a common definition of leadership and a common behavioral expression of how it will be modeled and taught
Develop a plan for implementing an intentional culture designed to build high-performing, self-managing, championship teams
Compare each coach to an elite athlete/coach success target using the Flippen Profile® Assessment
Create a My Traction Plan® Summary, which enables them to address behavioral constraints and capitalize on strengths
Establish open lines of communication to give and receive feedback effectively
Develop a coaching strategy to address inappropriate behavior in students, student athletes, and peers
Use the Capturing Kids’ Hearts® EXCEL Model™ to communicate clearly and persuasively during interpersonal interactions and meetings
Approach
Coaching Greatness is an immersive, participatory experience, not a theoretical or motivational lecture. Coaches learn and practice skills they will use and model on a daily basis. Coaching Greatness provides the basis for an action plan for continued personal and professional development.
We look forward to serving you.
