LEADWORTHY® LOCAL

Leadworthy Local is a one-day event for middle school and high school Leadworthy students packed with fun team-building games, personal development activities, and engaging group lessons. Students will be challenged to problem-solve, think critically, and grow as a team as they develop and plan a service project for their campus.

Participant Outcomes

Leadworthy Local is intentionally designed to cultivate a relationship-driven community among students and to inspire participants to #BeRemarkable. Students will put into practice many of the tools and skills taught through Leadworthy the Course and grow as a team outside the classroom walls.

Approach

Leadworthy Local is a high-energy, interactive, pro-social event for 6-12th grade students who are currently enrolled in Leadworthy the Course. Students (and their Course Leaders) will participate in team-building games, personal development activities, and engaging group lessons. Students will also develop and plan a unique service project designed exclusively for their campus. Leadworthy Local is facilitated by our fun and professional staff and will be a day to remember.

 Key Facts


WHO

  • 6-12th grade students currently enrolled in Leadworthy the Course (with their respective Course Leaders).

  • 100 students per event.

WHAT

  • Leadworthy Local is a 5-hour event (Includes a 30-minute lunch).

  • Students will participate in team-building games, personal development activities, and engaging group lessons.

  • Students will develop and plan a unique service project designed exclusively for their campus.

  • School dress code appropriate “casual attire” is the standard. Students should dress in a way that allows them to move easily.

WHERE

  • Large area (on or off campus) that accommodates group size and allows for activities, lots of movement, and some noise.
